Big Tibetan 8 Carved Buddha Eye Yak Bone Slip Bracelet

Big Tibetan 8 Carved Buddha Eye Yak Bone Slip Bracelet
Tibetan bracelet made of 8 round carved Buddha eye yak bone slips, for the diameter of 11/16", comparatively big! To make a symbol, the craftsman first cut the yak bone into small blocks and then sand them down by hand; then the yak bone is dyed a dark brown using tea; the last step is to hand carve the symbol onto it. Making such a bracelet requires a long and tedious process. BTW, the bracelet can be fastened by using a slide bead, very easily to use!

In Buddhist tradition, that oneness of vision, that unfragmented vision, that total vision, that whole vision, is called Buddha-eye. And whatsoever is seen through Buddha-eye is Buddha-cognition. When you have the Buddha-eye, you look at life with that one vision, it unites everything, thus you are able to know fully, not before that. Before that, your knowledge is always partial.

By wearing such bracelet, it is believed that it will protect you from all evil spirits and bring peace and harmony to your life. Definitely an exquisite and valuable Handicraft! It won't last long, why wait?

The hand made nature of the product will produce minor differences in design, color and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities.
